Ingredients

  • 2 filet mignon or beef medallions
  • 8 large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan
  • salt & black pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  • Step 1: Season steaks with salt and pepper. Sear in olive oil over medium-high heat for 3–4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Remove from pan and let rest.
  • Step 2: In the same pan, melt butter and add shrimp. Cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
  • Step 3: Lower heat. Add garlic to the pan and sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in cream and stir in parmesan. Simmer 2–3 minutes until thickened.
  • Step 4: Return steak and shrimp to the pan, spooning sauce over to coat well.
  • Step 5: Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley and extra cracked black pepper.

Notes

Pairs beautifully with mashed potatoes, sautéed green beans, or crusty bread. For a spicier kick, add a pinch of chili flakes to the sauce.
