Instructions
Step 1:
In a large bowl, mix ground beef, uncooked rice, chopped onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Form into meatballs.
Step 2:
In a large skillet, stir together tomato sauce, water, and Worcestershire sauce over medium heat.
Step 3:
Gently add the meatballs to the sauce. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 45–50 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 4:
Serve hot over mashed potatoes or rice. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Want extra flavor? Add a splash of beef broth to the sauce or mix in a pinch of Italian seasoning to the meat mixture. These freeze well too!
