This Honey Garlic Bacon Chicken is sweet, smoky, savory, and irresistibly delicious. Juicy chicken tenders are seared to golden perfection, glazed in a sticky honey garlic sauce, and topped with crispy bacon. A flavorful and family-friendly dinner!
Step 1: In a large skillet, cook chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate. Leave about 1 tablespoon of bacon grease in the skillet.
Step 2: Season chicken tenders with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. In the same skillet, melt butter and sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from pan.
Step 3: In the skillet, sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds. Stir in honey, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and soy sauce. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Step 4: Return chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce. Sprinkle bacon over top and simmer for another 2 minutes to blend flavors.
Step 5: Transfer to a serving plate, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot with your favorite sides like rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted veggies.
Notes
For extra crispiness, you can broil the dish for 1–2 minutes before serving. This recipe also works great with boneless thighs or pork chops!
